Mutaz Otaibi
General Manager

Mr. Otaibi is the General Manager of Viacloud and represents significant experience in the development and growth of regional telecommunications businesses. Prior to joining Viacloud, Mr. Otaibi served as the Managing Director of LINKdotNET in Jordan, a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom, during which he established the company and successfully grew its operations to one of the leading ISPs in Jordan. Earlier in his career, Mr. Otaibi held senior positions at several telecommunications and information technology companies. Mr. Otaibi holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Louisiana in the United States of America.

Abdalla Al Qawasmi
Deputy General Manager

Mr. Al Qawasmi is the Deputy General Manager of Viacloud and represents significant management and operational experience in the regional telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Viacloud, Mr. Al Qawasmi was the founder and General Manager of JomoTel, acquired by Viacloud in late 2005 and renamed Viacloud Jordan. At JomoTel, he developed and launched a range of pre-paid voice services and built the leading calling card operation in Jordan. He has also played key roles in the public payphone industry and at Jordan Telecommunications, the incumbent carrier of Jordan. Mr. Al Qawasmi holds a Bachelors of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Eastern Mediterranean University in Turkey.

Ahmed D. Alumran
Executive Director

Mr. Alumran is an executive member of Viacloud's board of directors. He is also a Managing Partner at Stratum, a leading private equity firm based in Bahrain, and represents a range of experience in private equity, business strategy, and new ventures. Mr. Alumran has served at the board and executive levels on several ventures both regionally and internationally in industries such as financial services, technology, and manufacturing. He has also advised a range of institutions in areas such as business strategy and mergers & acquisitions. Mr. Alumran holds Masters of Engineering and Bachelors of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) in the United States of America.

Marwan K. Tabbara
Executive Director

Mr. Tabbara is an executive member of Viacloud's board of directors. He is also a Managing Partner at Stratum, a leading private equity firm based in Bahrain, and represents a range of experience in private equity, investment banking, and corporate finance. Having previously worked with Citigroup in New York, London, and Bahrain, Mr. Tabbara has led a number of financial advisory engagements for clients in industries such as banking, energy, and telecommunications. He has also served as a director of several regional ventures and is a founding board member of the Gulf Venture Capital Association. Mr. Tabbara holds a Masters of Engineering Management degree and a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from Duke University in the United States of America.
